Spring Break in Acapulco…Crazy From Start to Finish

Where do I even start when it comes to tell stories about Spring Break?? Last year down in Acapulco it was crazy from start to finish. Everyday brings new stories and memories with your friends. Let’s start off with the daily routine…get up around 10, head to the pool and beach, and start off with some cervezas. Every minute of the day StudentCity.com had something going on; from the wet t-shirt contest (which ended up being no t-shirt at all), to Damian the Hypnotist putting on an awesome show, and even Lil’ Flip having a rap contest -there was nothing to miss on this trip. Even if StudentCity didn’t have something going on, students made their own fun. How about when we all pulled the underwater rubber sign up to make a slip and slide…that was classic! You would think that all the Real World stars would be stuck up and could care less to be down there. That’s totally wrong, you could easily see them walking around the beach or pool and be able to talk to them at the clubs. The nightlife is unbelievable! No wonder Acapulco is known for their clubs - you party at the clubs till the sunrises. My favorite night was partying with Shawn Marion of the Phoenix Suns. Since I’m from Chicago and so is he, we partied together all night Spring Break is so big and so much fun it draws famous people down. Spring Break is a once in a life time experience; everyone has to go on Spring Break especially with StudentCity, that’s why I’m going again this year.

StudentCity.com staff takes on the Spirit of Boston

It was yet another night of craziness for the StudentCity.com crew on the Spirit of Boston dinner cruise last weekend. Not only do they make the sickest parties on Spring Break, they know how it’s done no matter where they are; even in Boston Harbor! Almost the entire sales team made their way to the Boston area for a weekend like no other! After a long week of work, it was off for a “relaxing” night on the dinner cruise…but as we all know, StudentCity.com’s staff doesn’t do “relaxing!” Some members of the team danced their way into the show spotlight, including acts by Adam Thorpe, Evan Winokur, Matt Scoletti and Cory Maynard. Once the performances ended, the ship’s DJ started spinning the hottest new tracks while the StudentCity.com team tore it up on the dance floor! I don’t think the other people on the ship knew what hit them…it had to have been the biggest dance party the Spirit of Boston has ever seen! I have to admit, my favorite part was watching Spaghetti hit on one of the girls in the show, too bad she was taken! It was a great start to yet another memorable StudentCity weekend, and the events continued when we all made it out to support the guys’ softball team Saturday afternoon!

Top Party School for Spring Break Preunion Bash!

StudentCity.com has officially announced the winning school of the “Preunion Bash” for booking the most Spring Break 2007 trips at their school…and the winner is…drum-roll please…The University of Maryland!!! Every school was given the opportunity to show their pride and prove that their school is #1, so it looks like we found the Top Party School in the Country! We will be throwing the sickest “Spring Break Preunion Bash” complete with celebrity appearances at the University of Maryland in the upcoming months for all the students who will be traveling with StudentCity.com for Spring Break ’07! Road Rules Celebrities, StudentCity.com and Free Spring Break!

For those of you who made it out, you know that the Big Red Machine helped in making Philly Fest a huge success. Normally StudentCity.com has a “Wheel-of-Fortune” style wheel at such events to give away free trips and discount coupons for Spring Break trips, but this time the guys went all out! Andrew and TJ made a PLINKO BOARD! Yah, that’s right, there was a line of thousands of students waiting to play your favorite game from “The Price is Right,” StudentCity.com-style! StudentCity.com gave away vouchers, as good as cash, towards Spring Break 2007 trips to almost every student! With options like $50 Off, $100 Off, and Free Spring Break Trip, it was almost too good to be true. What’s more…Randy and Svetlana from MTV’s Real World showed up to enjoy the party! Students were able to snap pics with these reality show superstars, as well as get autographs! It was a guaranteed good time for everyone there, because for those of us who didn’t manage to win big with PLINKO, were able to take in a free concert by Fat Joe and other local acts.
