Season of the Sox

Unbelievable.! That's the first expression I spout after hearing about the Red Sox march into the world series. And to think that by Game 5 we were all hoping for the best but one little part of us looked at everything in the world with a cynical optic.

And, then Manny said he didn't care. So, there was a mini-burst of indignation from die-hard fans but, it did soften things up a bit for the rest of us. Cos we know that Manny;s just being Manny and when he did go out to bat, he batted like he really cared.

So, tonight's the night - golden boy Josh Beckett taking on Jeff Francis. The mood's electric. Spring Break's still in the air with kids wanting to get on board. But, here at Student City, the only thing that matter's is our team, the Red Sox!!!
