It's your 2nd semester of this college year and you've worked about 3/4 of your way through the year, you deserve a nice break.
Wait,.. wrong, you deserve a KILLER BREAK!
If you are where I am this semester, completely sick of snow, absolutely tired of shoveling, then you (as well as I) deserve an amazing vacation for spring break this year. Lucky for us, there are amazing 2nd Semester spring break deals available.
If you are under the impression that there's only one time of year that you can plan your spring break trip your wrong. It may be seasonal as far as school goes, but the spring break companies work year round and the funny thing is, is the sooner you book your trip, the better deal your going to get, (and we all need to save some cash) the nicer hotel suite you'll get, and the more special VIP-like treatment you'll get because you were there first. (DIBS!)
For example, if you book now, there are deals to stay at the lovely, luxurious Oasis Hotel in Cancun, Mexico to get your groove on for spring break 2009. 4 night packages - $200 off per person. And I know for a fact (heard from a bird) that there is a little MTV surprise down in Cancun this year that I can't tell you about yet, but if you keep checking back you know soon enough.
So don't get stuck doing nothing but shoveling in the cold for spring break 2009. Get out there!

offers.
Of course, my friends are hounding me to talk to my boss about getting some discounts for all of us, and they are picking destinations to ask for, but I told them if we do get a deal then we take what we can. However, the 4 places they are hoping to go are:
1. Acapulco, Mexico: A few friends I plan to go with have already been to Acapulco and actually booked with Student City and each one of them would easily go back for a second time. Some of the party packages that Student City offers, are definitely some to look into.
2. Cancun, Mexico: Obviously this is a choice, because who doesn’t think of Cancun when they think of Spring Break. Student City, again has great party packages and Cancun is always a good time.
3. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic: Then there are a few friends who feel like going off to Punta Cana where you can still have a crazy spring break and Student City will assure you of that, but with time to rejuvenate during the day on the beach.
4. Panama City, Florida: Spring Break in Florida…Why not? We are all 21+ and Panama is a crazy party city during Spring Break and once again Student City can get you the best deals around.
We do have our options and for cheap!!! But if I could get it for free, that would be pretty sick right? Well for me! And don’t be that jealous because you can go for free too just check out Student City. These are just 4 of the many destinations that Student City offer for very unforgettable Spring Breaks, so check them out and let me know which one you’d go for.

Spring Break Destinations...Where would you go?
My last year of college and I think I might finally go on a Spring Break, but there is one question…Where do I want to go? So, this year I might have some more options considering I work for Student City. In all seriousness though I’ve only worked there for about 6 weeks, so I can’t really expect much at all, but regardless whether or not I can get hooked up as an employee I can still get hooked up with all the great deals Student Cityoffers.
Of course, my friends are hounding me to talk to my boss about getting some discounts for all of us, and they are picking destinations to ask for, but I told them if we do get a deal then we take what we can. However, the 4 places they are hoping to go are:

It's not to hard to understand why there's such an anticipation for spring break. Is it just because of its no-holds barred atmosphere or just its uninhibited frenzy that leads to thousands of college students to land up at Cancun, Acapulco etc. etc.?
Working at StudentCity allows me an insight into this exciting world, hence the idea to post a blog. Now, here comes my shameless product plug...Well, OK! But honestly, without making a big noise about it, StudentCity does have tons of spring break packages and deals for all these different exciting places in the US and internationally.
By international, I mean all the different destinations like Cancun, Acapulco, Florida, Cabo, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, South Padre Island and more. So, anyone wanting to book a trip has his/her hands full.
Choices abound...Let me list a few :
1. Where do I want to go?
2. How long should I stay there?
3. Which travel provider should I choose?
4. what packages are right for me?
5. Whom am I traveling with?
That's just the start. Let's get some answers, shall we?
1. Cancun's the most visited spot for Spring Break. Almost every kid you come across will want to talk about his Cancun spring break experience. During those few days in March the town transforms itself into party central. There are landmark hotels like the Oasis (StudentCity actually has it's HQ over there) coupled with clubs like 'Home to the 'City that party on all night.
So, if you'd ask me, I'd go with Cancun simply because the odds of meeting folks from your school or state are much higher. Of course, if you want a more relaxed spring break there's always Jamaica.
2. That's totally up to you. Packages are available to cover most length-of-time requirements. Or, it would make sense if you checked up with your travel provider to see what they have to offer.
3. The answer to this one is simple. You need to choose the most reliable travel provider and not any fly-by-night operator. do some basic homework. check out the provider's website - ask them questions like how long have they been in the business, how strong is their relationship with the various entertainment providers like the clubs, beach party organizers, event organizers, hotels etc. Dig deep - you're the customer and you have the right to know about the business to whom you're giving your money to.
4. Once again the spring break package that you select is dependent on where you want to go, the other students you're traveling with, how long you plan to spend there and what thrills and frills you want with your deal. There are tons of spring break deals out there and after understanding what you want, make a top three list (Hmm... I seem to like lists) and select the best one.
5. This one is easy. Use your MySpace and Facebook to locate folks who are traveling. StudentCity has a community site which lists the students who are traveling for the upcoming Spring Break 2008 where you can see who's traveling and connect with them.
And, of course, the bigger your group, the better will be your discounts. I'll write some more in days to come about how you can travel for free - it's as simple as getting a group of kids to go on spring break and you jump on for free, after that.
To be continued...
